Pemasangan Castable Konvensional

1. Karakteristik Semen Cor Tahan Api / Castable

Technocast Castable disediakan dalam bentuk powder / bubuk dengan kandungan agregate tertentu yang mana di dalam pengaplikasiannya hanya memerlukan air bersih (kualitas PAM). Untuk jenisnya sendiri terdapat bermacam – macam tergantung kebutuhan dalam spesifikasi furnacenya.

Supaya hasil pemasangan dapat optimal, hendaknya memperhatikan beberapa poin berikut:

a. Pemilihan tipe produk berdasarkan kondisi furnace:

  • Berapa Temperaturnya
  • Di mana nantinya castable dipasang
  • Ada atau tidaknya Gas & Chemical
  • Ada atau tidaknya Abrasi & Thermal Shock

b. Desain Lining Structure yang tepat, diantaranya:

  • Perhitungan Isolator Lining
  • Ketebalan Castable Lining

c. Curing dan Heating Up yang benar.

  • Curing Time: Istilah untuk proses mengatur laju dan tingkat kelembaban dari dalam beton selama hidrasi semen. Minimal diistirahatkan selama 24 jam setelah casting, untuk memastikan castable sudah cukup kuat untuk proses selanjutnya (heating up). Jika hasil casting sudah keras sebelum 24 jam dan timbul hawa panas, perlu dibasahi dengan air atau kain basah untuk menjaga kestabilan temperatur sehingga terjadi pengerasan yang sempurna.
  • Heating Up: Proses pembakaran dengan suhu rendah dan bertahap naik, berfungsi untuk mengatur penguapan air dan moiturizing berjalan dengan sempurna. Kenaikan temperatur dari ambient temperatur sampai operation temperation yang umumnya diawali di suhu 30°C. Lebih jelasnya silahkan cek gambar berikut.

d. Kualitas dan jumlah air yang digunakan untuk mixing. Sangat disarankan menggunakan air dengan kualitas yang sama seperti air minum (PAM)

e. Kualitas Form Work dan Kosntruksinya, harus dengan bahan yang tidak menyerap air.

f. Cara Pengadukan / Mixing, Untuk Cara pencampuran bisa di cek di video berikut.

g. Teknik Pemasangan

h. Pemilihan Anchor yang tepat. Anchor / Jangkar, berfungsi sebagai pengikat atau penahan agar benda yang terhubung dengan jangkar tidak bergerak.  Demikian juga dengan anchor besi pada teknik pemasangan refractory yaitu agar material tidak jatuh pada saat operasional.

  • Bentuk Anchor

Yang perlu diperhatikan pertama-tama adalah jarak antar anchor besi.  Idealnya berjarak 10-15 cm.  Penyusunan anchor harus bersilang.

Dalam banyak kasus yang sering ditemui penyebab kerusakan pada refractory terletak pada masalah anchor ini.  Bentuk, ukuran dan jenis besi sangat mempengaruhi kepada kekuatan refractory.
Adapun tinggi anchor disarankan ¾ dari ketebalan castable.

Mengingat pemasangan refractory berkaitan erat dengan panas tinggi, maka menggunakan anchor dari bahan stainless steel sangat dianjurkan yaitu minimal SUS 304.

i. Pengaturan dilatasi atau expansion joint yang tepat untuk memberi celah apabila terdapat shrinkage & expansion. Setiap interval 1 – 2 meter yang di casting.
